Caramel Sauce

  • 1 cup sugar white granulated
  • cup cream
  • 50 grams butter salted


  • Heat sugar in a heavy base saucepan. Once sugar starts to melt stir until sugar has all dissolves.
  • When sugar has all dissolved let it lightly boil away until it turns an amber colour.
  • Take off heat and add cream a little at a time. It will start to bubble up as you add the cream.
  • Add butter and stir until butter is all melted.
  • Leave to cool for a few minutes before using.
